		You've probably heard that brushless power is the future. Well, the future is here, and if you're still not convinced that brushless motor power offers more than your standard brushed motor, we think it's time to seriously consider all of the benefits that brushless offers. 
  Since their introduction in 2003, Novak's Super Sport Motor Series (SS5800 8.5-turn and SS4300 10.5-turn), both of which are ROAR approved, have made a tremendous impact on R/C enthusiasts. Whether you are a novice or a pro, running a brushless system will give you more of just about everything you really want from your R/C car -- with a lot less effort. Consider the following:
  All Novak brushless motors are designed specifically for R/C car applications so they easily fit in popular 1/10 scale R/C cars. Expect to experience approximately 20% longer run times and higher performance with a brushed motor -- with virtually no maintenance. This is due to there being no brushes, brush springs, or commutator to true or wear out. All Novak motors incorporate sensor technology which allows excellent starting torque and low-speed driveability. The motors also provide low cogging for smooth acceleration and smooth coasting. Both the SS5800 8.5-turn and SS4300 10.5-turn motors feature direct-solder wiring tabs for easy wire replacement, and locked rotor and thermal protection to allow pack after pack to be run without fear of damaging the motor, battery, or speed control. The bottom line is you get more time to play with less time wrenching!

  SS5800 (8.5-turn): This is a mild-modified brushless motor that has performance similar to a 15-17-turn brushed motor.
  SS4300 (10.5-turn): This is a 10 1/2 turn brushless motor that provides performance similar to a 19-turn racing stock brushed motor.  The SS4300 provides all of the advantages of the SS5800 Brushless Motor, but provides lower speeds for increased vehicle control for newer drivers, and longer run-times for those trying to get some valuable  practice  time on the track.  SPEED CONTROL COMPATIBILITY If you are wondering about what speed control to run with your brushless motor, we've got you covered. The SS5800 Brushless Motor is compatible with Novak's Super Sport Plus ESC (#1705), as well as Novak's GTB Brush/Brushless ESC (#1710). Both speed controls are not only fully programmable, allowing you great flexibility to customize it to your liking, they can also be used with either brushless or brushed motors. For additional savings and convenience, the SS5800 can be purchased as a system (#3004) with the Super Sport Plus ESC, to which it comes conveniently factory-wired to, so it is ready-to-install straight out of the box.
 
  The SS4300 Brushless Motor (#3401) is to be used with the Super Sport ESC or the Super Sport Plus Brushless/Brush ESC (#1705). Like the SS5800, the SS4300 can be purchased as a system (#3006) with the Super Sport ESC (#3205), to which it comes conveniently factory-wired, so it is ready-to-install straight out of the box.
