La Radio Spectrum DX-6 è la prima al mondo ad utilizzare il sistema di trasmissione DSM a 2,4 Ghz a 6 canali.
Per aumentare la sicurezza della trasmissione il radiocomando e la ricevente sono dotati di sistema DualLink TM multi-path lavorano contemporaneamente con 2 frequenze diverse.
Purtroppo a causa delle leggi Europee DX-6 non può trasmettere oltre 0,8W di potenza e questo limita l'utilizzo a slow fly , aerei indoor o piccoli elicotteri elettrici a causa della scarsa distanza che copre il radiocomando.
Non ci sono più problemi di scelta dei quarzi il DX-6 sceglie automaticamente uno dei Doppi 40 canali disponibili senza possibilità di interferenze con altri radiocomandi.

The world's first 2.4 GHz DSM system exploiting SPREAD SPECTRUM TECHNOLOGY with six control functions and multi-path DuaLinkTM technology for enhanced transmission security. The transmitter and receiver operate simultaneously on two frequencies, thereby doubling the safety margin for indoor, slow-fly and micro-helicopter pilots.
- SPEKTRUM 2. 4 GHz SPREAD SPECTRUM technology exploiting DuaLinkTM technology, technically refined 6-function radio control system, for indoor, slow-fly and micro-helicopter pilots only.
- DuaLinkTM technology: two simultaneous transmission channels at the transmitter and receiver provide a widemargin of safety. Although the system offers inherently long range, it cannot be used for large models.
- DSM function: as soon as the transmitter is switched on, the system scans the 2.4 GHz band for a vacant channel, and locks onto it. The transmitter then scans for a second channel and transmits on that frequency. The system is now transmitting on two 2.4 GHz channels, thereby doubling the safety margin.
- Micro-dual receiver with DuaLinkTM technology. Two receivers always operate simultaneously. Two receiver aerials, their polarisation offset by 90° to each other, ensure an optimum receiver signal at all times.
- No crystals, no channels to set: no more waiting for a free channel. Simultaneous operation of up to forty transmitters using 2.4 GHz SPREADSPECTRUM technology no interference problems.
- Maximum interference rejection through DSM and DuaLinkTM technology. Interference from electric motors, servos and electrical charge (metal noise ) no longer possible.
