Product information The original Super Star is a thoroughbred aerobatic aeroplane. The American Henry Haigh designed and built the machine in the 1980's, and in 1988, at the age of 68 years, he flew it to become World Champion in Canada. The model is of all-wood construction, reinforced in all the vital areas. The major components, including fuselage, wing and tail panels, are supplied ready-built and film-covered. The wing panels plug in to the fuselage on an aluminium joiner tube, and are held against the fuselage by pairs of plastic screws. The servos are installed immediately adjacent to the control surfaces in order to reduce linkage slop to the absolute minimum. Assembling the model just requires gluing the tailplane and fin in place, installing the power plant and installing the RC system.
